Finaly, I got a sollution: The problem seems to be, that a standalone-computer -even with properly installed TCP/IP-stack- possibly does not have a IP-Adress(i.e. when IP-adress is dynamicaly linked during connection, as it should be the default for PPP). This prevents connection of the XPilotNT-server and client when offline. The workaround (if you want to play alone at home): Install TCP/IP for the Modem-connection and configure it with a statical IP-number. or: Do the same thing for the TCP/IP-->NE2000-binding, if you have a network-card (even if it isn´t connected to a net (but it must be activated)). Start XpilotNT-Server Start XPilotNT The Monitor-program still has it´s problems, and the performance lacks a bit compared to LINUX, but as this is still beta.... Maybe you can mention this little hack for al those XPilot-players having the same problems. |
